Im the monster in my nightmares?

i sometimes have nightmares, thou they are very...unusual and unique.

i'm the monster in those dreams, i'm the one who is chasing people and scaring the $hit out of them.

once i was literally some sorta creature and i remember slaughtering a little girl and a guy. they screamed their lungs out and tried to escape(i believe i broke the girls neck and ripped the guy's heart out)...and no one was controlling me or anything like that.

a few days ago i dreamt i kicked a leopard cub to death and to top it off i laughed heartily the whole time.

there was this prison dream in which i killed the guards in order to escape.

another time i ran over some people with a truck....on purpose.

and the list goes on and on.

im a very laidback and chill person, so why are my dreams so fcked up?

fyi i prefer comedy movies%26amp;tv shows and it certainly doesnt come from the games...sims anyone? lol|||Often a person who is outwardly laid back, is someone who wishes to maintain harmony around him, and often will not express one's true thoughts on a situation in order to preserve the peace. I should know, as I am such a person. When you hold back on what you are really feeling though, you can wind up with repressed anger that you would not normally want others to know about, and can wind up feeling bad for feeling angry at someone or something. It's normal to feel anger or frustration some days, not every day meets our needs, and when your needs aren't met, you get upset about that, but you might not say so. If you have trouble with communicating your needs to others or being heard by them, it can get frustrating. Yet because you wish to maintain harmony around you, you can wind up feeling bad for getting upset, or even feeling as though the upset is somehow inappropriate or out of proportion. You may possibly be casting your self in the role of a monster because you feel bad that you actually feel upset or angry about something in the first place. I would view it as a coping mechanism that helps you blow off emotional steam that you wouldn't want to express in the waking world. A goal to work toward is to learn as much as possible the best ways to make yourself heard without feeling like you have to be nasty about it, and to have your needs known while still maintaining harmony and peace around you. It is just as appropriate for your needs to be met as it is for you to meet the needs of those around you. You are just as deserving as anyone else.|||Well, the thing about repressed feelings is, well, they are repressed. It doesn't necessarily mean that you don't feel these things, but that in working to maintain harmony around you, you may refuse to even acknowledge they exist in the first place...

|||Repression of feelings can lead to a feeling of emotional numbness in waking life.

|||Fear often manifests in dreams and the fear of becoming out of control can be very real. Personally, I was headed in those same directions until I made Jesus Christ my Savior and Lord. Only with regular Bible reading, church attendance, connecting to Christian media, etc. did I begin to bring myself under the control of the Holy Spirit and begin to overcome the whispers of the demonic realm.|||This is demonically influenced dreams. I suggest you seek a deliverance.|||Perhaps you would like to act out more than you do, and this is why you are the monster in your dreams.
