Ok. So I bought my children a Wii for XMas. I also purchased 2 additional controllers, the sports set controllers, Wii Fit with mat, Super Mario, and Monster Truck Jam. Now my questions are: please answer all if possible. Im not knowledgeable on the Wii, only on the PSP, PLS III, ETC. The Wii is a whole new ballgame. :-)
1) Do you need a memory card for this unit? Cost?
2) Are there special games that you can only use the game pack? I purchased the Monster Truck game and my question is-will the steering wheel work with that game or are there special games only?
3) Are the GameCube games compatible with the Wii? All of them?
4) Wii controllers compatible with the Game Cube games as well?
5) Does the Wii console require batteries or does it come with a plug?
6) Does the controllers require batteries??
I think thats it for now, I'm sure I'll have more later. LOL :-)|||The playing experience is different, compared to all other consoles, it requires you to be more active to make the most of the wii experience
I will answer these lot in the orders of your question
1) Not necessarily, if you want to for more storage space, then you will need a SD card which you can get at electrical/computer/camera stores
2) If there was a steering wheel, all it is, is some plastic thing that you stick your wiimote into
3) Of all I have yes
4) No
5) it comes with a plug
6) only a pair of AAs for each wiimote|||1, No no memory card needed its internal
2. the sterring wheel will work wit it
3. yup every single gamecube game is
4. no they are not compatible
5. wii console runs off a wall plug
6. the wii motes (controllers) use two AA batteries that last about 2-3 weeks depending on use
Hope this helped :)|||1. You don't need a memory card to save Wii games. It has internal memory, but you can purchase SD cards for extra storage, which vary in size and price. You do need a GameCube memory card to save GameCube games though, I believe.
2. Most games will say what they support on the back of the case or in the instruction manual.
3. Pretty much every GameCube game will work on the Wii.
4. Wii controllers are not compatible with GameCube games.
5/6. Only Wii remotes require batteries, the console itself is AC powered. Controllers take two AA batteries, but there are rechargeable battery packs available for purchase.
