I am considering these games, but am also open for recommendations; Red Steel, Twilight Princess, Call of Duty 3, Excite Truck, Far Cry, Metroid Prime 3, Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam.

Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam
Trauma Center: Second Opinion
Wii Sports|||Red Steel is top of my list, Excite Truck and LOZ would do it for me.|||Get The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess and Wii Sports and Metroid Prime 3: Corruption|||you need a game that takes advantage of the wii technology so forget driving games, probably a sports game or shoooting e.g. wii sports madden COD 3|||Twilight Princess, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption|||you gotta get zelda it looks so cool and i saw screenshots from the gamecube version, Call of Duty 3 and metal slug them games were the best ever|||Call Of Duty 3, Need For Speed: Carbon, Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam|||I would go with the following 3.
1. The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. This is the latest game in the second biggest (some would argue biggest) game series from Nintendo. It is a system-seller, and there is no way Nintendo will allow it to flop. I expect high quality gameplay, story, action, and bosses from this. Nintendo knows if this game fails, the Wii may fail with the "hardcore" gamers.
2. Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. Get this one for a similar reason to the previous. The first two games of the 3-D versions of Metroid have proven that Retro Studios can make a great game. This fact, plus the Wii-mote's new gameplay mechanics, almost guarantees a fun, challenging experience.
3. Elebits. I think that this is a sleeper game. It seems like a cute collection game, sort of like Pikmin. However, there is sure to be enough challenge for those who wished to be, and enough cuteness to attract those who are not into games yet. If you are on an allowance, your parents may enjoy this game, and peruse the market for games of their own, thus easing the burden on your own wallet.
Excite Truck, Red Steel, and Downhill Jam come in 4-6 in some order, in my book.|||tenkaichi 2
