Is your ballpark used for some other events, games etc other than baseball?

During the offseason the Angels Stadium as you know it magically turns into an arena for *drumroll* MONSTER JAM TRUCKS! The entire baseball field is taken apart and there is dirt everywhere! A couple of ramps are there for those big Monster trucks to do tricks and stuff. I don't know how the groundscrew make the field look so good after all of that but they make it work somehow.





It is also used as concert venues also :D|||The Metrodome was used for Vikings games, Gopher baseball games, NCAA basketball games, and monster truck jams. Until this year, the Gophers football played there too.





Now, Target Field is exclusive for the Twins...but the Twins haven't even played their first game there yet! :-D|||At CitiField, they have had concerts and other events. They were supped to host a couple of games for the new football league, but couldn't sell out and shifted the games.





In their old ballpark, Shea Stadium, Pope John Paul II was there, and were the Beatles, the Who, Billy Joel, and the largest crowd ever was for a Jehovah Witnesses event in the late 70s. The Jets, Giants, and Yankees also played there.|||Fenway had the Winter Classic this year, I saw The Police there in 2007, every year they have Picnic In The Park where you buy tickets ($$ donated to charity) and can sit and eat in the outfield grass and toss the ball around too.|||Don't know yet. The Twins are finally playing outside and it's about time. As far as I'm concerned, baseball was ruined for Minnesota when the Twins started playing indoors in 1982. Target Field will be (literally) a breath of fresh air.|||They use the metrodome for just about everything, football, baseball, high school football, hs baseball, hs soccer, monster trucks, concerts, you name it it's happened there|||The Pope was there in 2008,lots of boxing matches, and we're in line to get the Winter Classic soon. And the Giants used to play there, including the "greatest game ever played" against the Colts in 1958.|||At Wrigley Field, they had the Winter Classic on New Years Day 2009. Also, Wrigley is used for concerts and that kind of stuff. Before Soldier Field, the Chicago Bears used to play there.|||Only concerts during baseball season %26amp; fireworks show on most Friday home games. Most of the concerts around here go on in Jerry's World (Cowboy's Stadium)|||Yep. It's always used for concerts after baseball games and fireworks shows.|||yes. The Pope came to yankee stadium before and people came and it had nothing to do with any game. They also had football games at Yankee stadium.|||At tunrner field home of the braves, we might have concerts and during this time they have the circus in the parking lot if that counts|||The Trop is used for a The St. Petersburg Bowl. It was used for hockey and Arena football before the Rays came





Ray J hosts Monster Jam|||The new Yankee Stadium will be hosting a College Football game later this year.|||Yankee stadium will have college football|||Oakland Alameda coliseum, both A's and Raiders play here.|||PNC Park hosts alot of concerts. In fact, the Dave Matthews Band will be performing there this summer.|||I don't have a ball park but my kids play kick ball in the back yard.
